Selden said: "Black licorice on the nose. Soft and simple with blackberry in the mouth. Very light and smooth. No bite or bad after taste. Excellent bottle for the price. Would buy again."

This bottle was a gift from a co-worker. He said it is an excellent value and about every 6 months it can be found at Trader Joes. He knows the family that makes the wine and they said it is a less expensive version of pricey wine from the same vineyard. Smooth red that tastes like a Pinot Noir. Soft round feel with notes of berries and a finish that holds up well. A good sipping wine or best served with non-spicy pasta for foods."
