Apple with dry, crisp and slightly tart finish. Caroline says, "sugar covered lemon rind. extreme effervescence the mouth" It is fair to say we have different thoughts....but both like the wine.

Floral and buttery on the nose, viscous with a zesty finish, almost like a bakes granny smith apple in the mouth, giving way to a red delicious apple finish.

Thick hardy Australian Shiraz that doesn’t leave your teeth purple like some of the other big brands. Good balance of fruit with alcohol start and zippy tannins for a strong finish.

I like Sauv Blancs and this is not my favorite nor the worst I have ever had. Watery with a tart lemon start….no cats pee that I like (yes I said that!). Mineral and a little bit of a milky finish. My wife on the other hand likes the full citrus taste….she thinks is starts really big.

Jammy on the nose….almost like a raspberry preserve. Thicker viscosity and a solid wine. Nice strong black pepper finish. Pretty impactful and heavy. Not bad for a table wine.

I have to admit my wife helps me on these. She says it has a milk chocolate and juicy on the mouth start and a black pepper aftertaste with sweet berry notes. I think it is a good full red that makes a great table wine.

This is a great wine to pare with red meat. Comes with an opinion and stands on its own. Dark cherry and licorice with a lasting finish of ripe strawberry.

Interesting blend: 50% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 20% Mourverde. We all said hum....in a good way. Pretty simple with almost bitter black cherry, over ripe strawberry with sour on the side of tongue. Lasting aftertaste....stays with you.
