Beautiful garnet color -- dark berry notes like blueberry and cassis in the nose... surprisingly soft in the mouth -- hints of vanilla -- round and balanced -- dark roast coffe, tabbacco-ish finish... then (surprise!) a sweet ripe blueberry POP! in the mouth. This is really, really good! Think this would be good with some well aged cheeses, actually.

Apple with dry, crisp and slightly tart finish. Caroline says, "sugar covered lemon rind. extreme effervescence the mouth" It is fair to say we have different thoughts....but both like the wine.
