Food I tasted it with: Veal pasta
Review notes:
Sorry. I had it as a 4.0. This bottle was a gift from a co-worker. He said it is an excellent value and about every 6 months it can be found at Trader Joes. He knows the family that makes the wine and they said it is a less expensive version of pricey wine from the same vineyard. Smooth red that tastes like a Pinot Noir. Soft round feel with notes of berries and a finish that holds up well. A good sipping wine or best served with non-spicy pasta for foods.
